# Nightbreak Forge

> Nightbreak Forge (https://forge.nightbreak.io) is a browser editor for content of MagmaGuy's Nightbreak Minecraft plugins: EliteMobs, BetterStructures, FreeMinecraftModels, EternalTD, CannonRTP and ResurrectionChest. Its plugin knowledge is also a public MCP server that AI assistants can use.

## MCP server

- URL: https://forge.nightbreak.io/mcp
- Transport: Streamable HTTP. Speaks MCP 2026-07-28; 2025-era clients are answered from the same URL.
- No account or key. Read-only: it stores nothing it is sent and cannot reach anyone's server or files.
- Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http nightbreak https://forge.nightbreak.io/mcp`
- Claude on the web or desktop: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the URL.
- Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients: add a remote HTTP MCP server with the URL.

## Tools

- get_authoring_notes: where each config type's files go, and the plugin rules Forge's own assistant follows. Read it first.
- list_config_types: every config type, with its server path and format (YAML or Lua).
- get_config_schema: one type's fields, defaults, required keys and allowed values.
- validate_config_files: Forge's validator over YAML and Lua files sent with their server paths, including references between them.
- search_wiki, fetch_wiki_page: the Nightbreak wiki.
- search_plugin_source, fetch_plugin_source_file: the plugins' and MagmaCore's GitHub source.
- get_local_lua_reference, validate_lua_power_draft: the Lua scripting reference and static checks.

Validate every file you write before finishing, and do not invent keys, hooks or helpers that the schema, reference or source does not show. ResourcePackManager and BetterFood are covered by the wiki only.
